You aren't very savvy on social media (ME TOO) 


When ...social media is more media than it is social. ....broadcast to unforeseen audiences. Employers will Google you and look you up on social media sites... more than 40% of companies said they have turned down candidates based on what they see on their social profiles.... looked up a candidate ...wearing only a sock. (Not on his foot.) Your profile picture isn't private.A sales manager shared a story .... brilliant resume who interviewed well,.. didn't get the job because he was smoking or holding a bong in what seemed like every photo ever taken....


Why are you judging people on who they are as individuals? Why must they adhere to a rigid outline of a quintessentially 'boring' person? When Facebook and Google accounts didn't exist, did you benevolent employers hire private investigators to look into your applicants personal lives simply for additional reasons to not give them jobs? What are you hoping to find from looking at Facebook profiles? 

Should someone put up a false character image/impression on Facebook for all of their true friends to be confused by? Is a picture of a man and a dog better than a woman with three cats? Is it fair for employment to not be awarded on an objective basis?

What to say to someone who tells you to stop saying the word 'nigger' (ONLY when you are using 'nigga' innocently).

What is the difference between 'nigga' and 'nigger'?

That person: "Can you stop saying 'nigger' please"

You: "Huh?"

That person: "It's horrible"

You: "Why?"

That person: "Because, he's not black"

You: "He's not 'black'? a term that is actually negative and therefore racist, I know"

That person: "Huh?"

You: "I'm calling him a 'nigga', which is a term that can be applied to anyone, regardless of race. I'm not attributing anything negative to him"

That person: "Huh?"

You: "It's like 'nigga' is a man, like 'chappie' or 'dude'"

That person: "Aah, okay... what's the point in that"

It was said that Albert Einstein only slept for 3 hours a year, which is purist hyperbole. Sure, he was a busy man, with all his projects, but he must have been of truly extraordinary intellect in order for his brain to function so well without any resting time. It was also highly probable that he didn’t have a social life and was the opposite of energetic.

As a youth, I was really good at something special, I knew I was world-class. I was only so brilliant because I'd happily spent 3 or 4 years doing it every single day. I sacrificed many things… whether it was all for something or nothing is irrelevant. I became great out of devotion..

Often, the reason a student fails at school is that he or she has had more ‘important’ things to do other than revise for tests, research and do homework. No, not just partying....

Badly behaved at school, Isaac Newton didn't have parents, many friends or family... all he had was free time and interests.

Imagine a student, who cannot spend enough time learning, because its friends and family are always stealing its attention, the learning tools are absent and it has to work to not be homeless and hungry... Ok, would you expect to see that student become successful in its studies? Would a student without those setbacks have a harder time studying?

If one desires a good chance of success, one must be obliged to undertake training in all relevant practices at the near complete expulsion of other unrelated activities. One is only capable of executing said notion if one has copious amounts of time to spare and no distractions.

Imagine attempting to focus on something, with something else in your mind...
