All Black Musicians Are Rappers?

LAZY n EARLY 100th POST COS I DUN DID BARE LONG TINGZ

"It seems that to the media, most black musicians are rappers.

RAPPER

Of course this is not true, it is just some innocent soft-racism.
Where valuable artists merits are made irrelevant by their skin tone, their true claims to fame are rejected and the art of rapping is further downplayed.

Ray J is a singer, a great one at that.
At one blissful time, he broke the industry with high pitched wails. He is as much a porno star as he is a singer. He is seen rapping much less than he is seen as those two other professions.
Call him a singer, ex-popstar or adult-film star.

Usher is a singer / master-dancer who has very few songs with him rapping. Factually, he is as much a rapper as Miley Cyrus.

Will.I.am is, in terms of actual work, a producer. He raps and sings (both barely / poorly) but is certainly not a rapper by profession.

Does the media want people to believe that you can be a rapper without rapping and that a rapper who actually raps is just annoying. Yes!!!!

It's consistently evident that most staff in mainstream media don't want people to know how talented some artists are.

Never straight."
