Can you deny that some people are nicer to look at for specific reasons, and that some could, for another number of reasons, be less pleasing to look at? 

Can you agree that there are more reasons for not wanting to look at someone than just that they are ugly or gross? Is it then possible that someone might not want to look at someone because they are attractive?

No, not possibly.

The End Of Manners? Manners Don't Matter

It seems manners are unimportant in most situations.

'They' smoke in public places despite the unlawful nature of the act, talk loudly in public at times of quiet, scream like drunk gypsies as people sleep and are seemingly afraid to smile or show signs of welcoming acknowledgement other than a displeased gawp.
