Jobseeking Is Still Worse Than It Was

The government have made the process of claiming jobseekers (universal credit) longer now. It takes at least 5 weeks for the applicant to receive the first payment of a claim.

Before, you could make a call, tell someone your details and they would get an appointment from the system for you to attend the following week, could've been the same week. You go there, answer some questions, sign stuff and the following week you would receive the payments. If all went smoothly you could get some money 2 weeks after. Unemployed people need assistance ASAP, not meaning 'as-slow-as-possible'.
The system met its demands: all of the people forced into poverty by the employer collective (YES) only had to starve for two weeks, Now, with overfilled sectors, things have changed. Now you can only apply online, it takes an hour. After completed you wait for the system to text you about your appointment.
Less human workers in the system.
It now, for some reason, takes at least 48 hours more than it did to arrange an appointment slot. The date is for the next or following week and when you get there, you are made to sit a group presentation.

A pleasant to look at woman goes through her speech and tells everyone what's on the paper she gives out. You then must check over all of the details you gave online and amend the deliberately omitted bank account details.
After all that, the jobcentre still offers no jobs in its center.
